NOTES;-

(1) Owing to the late start of the Sailing Season it has not been possible to organise sailing for this afternoon. A visit to Admiral Nelson’s Flag Ship, H.M.S. Victory, has been arranged instead.

(2) Church Services. H.M.S. Excellent – 1000. Holy mass in the Roman Catholic Cathederal – 1000.

(1) Spare Gear. The state of the mess after Both Watches on Monday was very poor indeed. All spare gear is to be stowed NEATLY at the foot of each bed. Oilskins and coats are to be hung neatly on the foot of each bed and cases, bags, etc., are to be neatly stowed at the end of the mess.

(2) Tonights films: History of the Helicopter and Spithead Review.

NOTES;-
(1). Tea. All cadets have been invited to tea in the Wardroom at H.M.S. EXCELLENT. Dress, No.1 ‘s with lanyards.

(2) Photographs. A list has been placed on the notice board. All requirements are to be appended before 0800 on Friday.

(3) 22 Shooting; Tuesday. Port Watch scored 282 points, an average of 18.8, thus beating the Starboard watch by 33 points or an average of 2.2 points.
Highest Scores, Gow and Kilgour – 24 points each, Beer and Eade – 23 points. Very well done port Watch.

(4) Films To-night. Sailing to the Cape, Sir Francis Drake, Air Parade.

0800 Transport to W.I. via the Seamanship School. Sailing expedition to the Isle of Wight. (Weather permitting).

1645 Both Watches. Semaphore Test or swimming. On completion – Leave to both watches till 2230.


Notes;-
(1) It is hoped to be able to arrange transport to Pitt Street swimming baths for those who wish to go swimming, at 1645. If this can be done the Semaphore Test will be taken at 0730.

(2) Bag Meals. These are to be collected from the Galley after Breakfast. (Duty Instructor to supervise).

(3) Photographs. These will be issued and the cash collected at Both Watches this evening.
