1936
Unknown play 1936.
Looking through my father’s (Leslie George Webster 1932-7) school papers over the weekend I came across the attached photo which is
dated on the back in my father’s handwriting “Dec 1936”. This was actually printed onto a postcard.
It was obviously taken on the DGSB school stage and must represent a production of some sort or rehearsal perhaps by the Dramatic Society.
I have carefully looked through the Pharos magazines for 1936 and 1937 and can find no reference as to what this might have been. At that time any way.
The best I can come up with is that it may have been something to do with a school Christmas party.
In the meantime I will try and search further myself but do not have much expectation of success.
